Question by Annabanana: What are some good decorating ideas for using glass vases and candles?
I have a large collection of different size clear glass vases and candles of different shapes and sizes. I want to decorate my mantel with them but don’t know how to do it without making it look cluttered. Does anyone have any ideas or links to pictures?

I would put the candles and vases on top of your mantle… Fill the vases with different color gems and put some candles in the vases. also have some candles outside of the vases !

My advise would be to make your arrangement on a coffee table or sofa table. Candles on the mantle are nice yes…but here is the problem…after a few weeks you will notice your ceiling getting dark from the smoke. Try tea lights or don’t burn the candles longer than 2 hours and keep the wick as short as possible
